Will work to set new standard in second year of third term: PM Prachanda

By Radha Nepali, Arghakhanchi, Jan 15: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said that he will work to set a new standard in the second year of the third term.

The Prime Minister said that he will pursue for some more achievements as new standard is established in the first year of the current tenure. 

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the programme "Economic Development, Tourism and Promotion, Arghakhanchi Tourism Promotion for local employment" organized by the Federation of Nepali Journalists on Monday, PM Prachanda said that some challenges are getting addressed after continued efforts.

The country's economy was in crisis, there was a deep doubt over political stability when I was taking the leadership. A year on now, many issues related to economic crisis have been addressed while political stability established, said the PM.

He urged the industrial entrepreneurs to work enthusiastically as the economy has been improving since last year.

The PM said that "there is a significant improvement in the economy. Foreign exchange reserve is historically high. The inflow of tourists is increasing. Interest rate is very low, problems faced by microfinance is addressed, remittance inflow is rising, industry and business is growing."   

He appreciated for the unity and integrity of district level political parities for the development of Arghakhanchi and vowed that the federal government will prioritize development of the district
