Progressive Professors' organization for quality higher education

By Kokila Bhandari, Dhankuta, January 10: Progressive Professors' Organization, Nepal, has decided to notify the concerned authorities for the promotion of improved higher education and conservation of professional security.

The 16-point Dhankuta declaration paper endorsed by the 4th central committee meeting of the organisation has emphasized notifying all the university officer bearers for quality education and professional security. 

The meeting chaired by the Chairperson of the Progressive Professors' Organization Professor Dr. Bedraj KC concluded that promoting professionalism would be challenging if universities depend on acting office bearers.

The meeting was inaugurated by the member of the Koshi Provincial Assembly, Indra Mani Parajuli. In his inaugural speech, lawmaker Parajuli asked university professors for research and play the role of guidance for the society.
