By Abinash Chaudhary, Dhangadhi, Jan 10: Shree Airlines and Buddha Airlines aircraft en route to Dhangadhi from Kathmandu have landed at Surkhet Airport.

According to the airport control tower, both airplanes were diverted to Surkhet as the landing was not seen as feasible at the designated due to bad weather conditions. They will fly to the destination once the weather clears out.

The Dhangadhi Airport had resumed as the sky was clear in the morning and the planes flew out for Dhangadhi from Kathmandu. But, the weather got worse before planes could reach Dhangadhi because of which they were diverted to Surkhet Airport.

The Dhangadhi Airport has remained closed due to visibility owing to the excessive fog.
