TRN journos receive Int’l Peace Prize

By Our Correspondent,Nepalgunj, Jan. 9:Four journalists from Banke, including The Rising Nepal's Nepalgunj correspondent Siraj Khan and Banke correspondent Govinda Sharma, have received the International Peace Prize. 

They were awarded the prize at the international conference on war, peace and human rights organised by the SAARC Journalist Forum and the media organisation Manav Adhikar Today in Vaishali, Bihar, India.

The conference was held for two days and was attended by over 200 media persons and human rights activists from Nepal, India, Bangladesh and Mauritius.
