Government has given priority to development in Jumla district, asserts PM Prachanda

Kathmandu, Jan 2: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said the government has given high importance to the overall development of Jumla district.     

In a discussion with the CPN (Maoist Centre) leaders and cadres from Jumla district held at his residence in Baluwatar here today, the PM shared that the government has kept the overall development and construction of the district in priority.     

He also assured that the government will take the necessary decision for establishing land revenue and land survey office in Sinja area as per the locals' demand, said Manarishi Dhital, a writer and journalist who participated in the meeting.     

On the occasion, the Maoist Centre district-level leadership briefed the PM and party Chair Prachanda about the three-month campaign the party conducted in the district. According to Dhital, the party chairman was informed that the party organisation was expanded in village and the works carried out by the government communicated to the people's level.     

Likewise, the Maoist Centre Jumla district leaders urged the party chairperson to ensure representation from the district in the upcoming election to the Member of National Assembly.     

Member of the House of Representatives, Chhiring Lhamu Lama among other leaders were present in the meeting.(RSS)
