Minor murdered after rape in Dhanusha

By Smriti Mishra, Mahendranagar (Dhanusha), Dec 15: A six-year-old minor has been forcefully raped and is suspected to have been murdered in the  Kushmaha Satokhar, Sabala Municipality-9, Dhanusha. 

Ranjan Awale, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP)at the  Area Police Office, Sabala, said that an underage girl is suspected to have been killed by asphyxiation by neck compression after the rape.  

According to him, it was found that the minor might have been killed and thrown into a pit. After receiving information about the disappearance of a girl, the police said that the search operation was underway during which a lifeless body was discovered. 

The lifeless body was found in a ditch one kilometer away from the house of the deceased which is located at Sabala Municipality-9 at 9 PM on Thursday. 

Further investigation after the arrest of the two males involved in the incident is underway. The search operation was started when the girl did not return home till late at night from the marriage ceremony of a neighbor.
