MP Koiri gets clean chit

Mahottari, Dec 15: The Mahottari district court has given a clean chit to Laxmi Mahato Koiri, the Member of Parliament elected from Mahottari-1, on charge of murder of Assistant Sub-Inspector of Armed Police Force Nepal Thaman BK.
A single bench of Judge Uddhab Prasad Bhattarai gave a clean chit to MP Koiri on Thursday.
However, Abhiram Sharma, the Province Assembly Member elected from Mahottari- 3 (A) has got lifetime imprisonment on the same case.
Of the 28 defendants, MP Koiri and Pawan Thakur got clean chit while seven persons including Province Assembly Member Sharma got the lifetime imprisonment.(RSS)
