Ward member killed in Pyuthan wedding Jeep accident

By Salim Miya, Bijuwar, Dec 14: One person has been killed as a wedding passenger carrying a Scorpio Jeep met with an accident at the Baraula of Airawati Rural Municipality -2 in Pyuthan.

A jeep with registration number Lu 3 Cha 6847 was heading to District Headquarters Khalanga to bring the bride, met with an accident on Thursday morning.

Information Officer of District Police Office Pyuthen, Humananda Khanal informed that Damodar Nepali, 52 ward member of Mallarani Rural Municipality -3 has been killed in the accident.

He said that the accident was caused by a tyre puncture.

Police said that five have been injured and their treatment is underway at the District Hospital Bijuwar.
