One dead in Bara clashes, police opens blank fire, tear gas to control mob

scuffle between two groups at the Simraungadh Municipality building in Bara
while the police have opened a dozen rounds of blank fire and 45 cells of tear gas to take the situation under control.
The scuffle erupted on the issue that the municipality mayor took the chief
administrative officer for making the attendance.
Navaraj Sapkota, chief district officer (CDO) of Bara, confirmed that
Laxmi Mukhiya, aged approximately 25 years, of Ward 1 of Simraungadh
Municipality died in the clashes between the two groups.
