PM Prachanda pledges to implement master plan for Ramagrama Stupa Area Development

Nawalparasi, Dec 12: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has expressed commitment to the implementation of a master plan for the development of the Ramagrama Stupa Area.     

Prime Minister Prachanda mentioned that the government would carry out activities for the restoration, conservation and development of the Stupa area.     

He said that Ramagrama Stupa is very important for the development of this area, expressing the belief that it would help in the promotion of local tourism. PM Prachanda arrived at Nawalparasi today to participate in a programme organised at the historic and religious site, Ramagrama Stupa.     

The programme was organised in collaboration with Ramagrama Municipality and The Promise Land, an organisation, at the coordination of Lumbini Development Trust.

Similarly, the Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sudan Kirati, talked about the importance of the Ramagrama Stupa heritage site. (RSS)
