Deukhuri (Dang), Dec 1: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Rekha Sharma has said the forthcoming session of the parliament will pave a way to conclude transitional justice in the country.
During the 32nd general convention of the Amnesty International Nepal here Friday, Minister Sharma informed that government was moving ahead in a way the conflict victims would be ensured justice.
The works of the Commission for Inquiry of Enforced Disappeared Persons (CIEDP) were not finalized for long which evidently delayed justice to the victims, she argued, adding that forthcoming session of the parliament would conclude in consensus.
On the occasion, NC leader Anita Devkota and former Chairmen of Amnesty International Nepal stressed on concluding transitional justice soon. (RSS)
