NA poll: party registration on 10-15 December

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 1: The Election Commission (EC) has made public the election schedule for the members of the National Assembly (NA).

The NA election is slated for 25 January 2024. A total of 19 members for the upper house will be elected from the poll.

According to the schedule, political parties to take part in the NA poll are to register their parties for the poll in the EC from 10-15 December, said Shaligram Sharma Paudel, EC spokesperson.

EC will provide electoral symbols to parties on 17 December, election officers will be appointed on 1 January 2024 and the election programme will run from 4-13 January, as per the schedule.
