Sub-Inspector arrested with bribe
By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov.28: Pawan Saud, Sub-Inspector of Police at Area Police Office, Mainapokhar, Badhaiyatal Rural municipality-6, Bardiya, has been taken into control.
According to Bhola Dahal, Spokesperson at the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Saud has taken a bribe of Rs 30,000 in the name of settling the case of narcotic drugs.
The team mobilized by the Office of CIAA, Contact Office Nepalgunj took him under control on Tuesday.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
