Kathmandu, Nov 26: There is a partial effect of the westerly wind in the country at present, resulting in partly cloudy weather in the hilly areas of Sudur Paschim, Karnali and Lumbini provinces. The weather in the rest of the country will be generally clear, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.
Meteorologist Rojan Lamichhane also
said there is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the
highlands and mountainous areas of the country.
The minimum temperature in
Kathmandu today will be 10 degrees and the maximum will be between 21 and 23
degrees centigrade. Although many districts, including Kathmandu Valley, are
warm during the day, the minimum temperature in Humla, Jumla and Jomsom goes
below zero degree.
Similarly, tonight, the weather will be partly
cloudy to normal in the hilly areas of Sudur Paschim, Karnali and Gandaki
provinces, while the weather will be partly cloudy to generally clear in the
