By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov 5: Nepali Congress lawmakers will provide half a month of their salary to the earthquake victims.
A meeting of the NC's parliamentary committee made a decision to this effect.
NC's parliamentary party working committee meeting today held in NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba's residence, Dhumbarahi, decided to donate its parliament members' 15 days salary for relief, rehabilitation and treatment of those affected by the earthquake.
Issuing a press release today NC's Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak stated that NC's parliamentary party working committee expresses sorrow at the loss of life, and damages caused by the earthquake in Jajarkot on Friday night. The meeting paid tribute to those who have lost lives and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
