By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov 3: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has congratulated the Nepal cricket team today for being qualified in the T-20 World Cup Cricket.
PM Prachanda's message stated 'Congratulations to the Nepali cricket team for successful selection in T-20 cricket world cup. Express high regard on behalf of the government for the success and height achieved by the Nepal team in recent times".
Furthermore, PM Prachanda wished the best of luck for success in the upcoming journey and expressed the commitment that the government will be alongside the team all the way.
Nepal made it to the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, 2024 after registering an eight-wicket win over the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the semifinal under the Asia Qualifier. Co-hosted by the West Indies and the United States, the Word Cup will take place from June 4 to 30, 2024.
The semifinal match was held at the Mulpani Cricket Stadium in Kathmandu today.
