Jeep accident in Kavre: 11 injured including leader Lama
By Kedra Timalsina, Kavrepalanchowk, Oct. 29: As many as 11
persons including CPN (UML) central committee member Navina Lama were
injured when a Bolero jeep met with an accident at Nigale in Bethanchowk Rural
Municipality-1 this afternoon.
The police said that the jeep with registration number Ba 14
Cha 7077 overturned on the roadside as its brakes failed. The jeep was carrying
some UML leaders including Lama who were returning after participating in the tea
reception organized by Khanikhola village committee of the party.
The police said that the injured have been sent to Dhulikhel-based hospital for treatment.
There were 18 passengers in the jeep.
