Divya Dev, Gaumaya, Shishir join Mahajatra

By A Staff Reporters,Kathmandu, Oct. 19: After the success of ‘Jatra’ and ‘Jatrai Jatra’, new actors have been added to the third instalment, ‘Mahajatra’, produced by Shatkon Arts. 

It was recently announced that Haribansha Acharya has joined the cast, and now, actors Divya Dev Pant, Gaumaya Gurung and Shishir Bangdel have come on board the team.

These new entrants have already fine-tuned their looks and are fully prepared for their characters in the upcoming shoot.

Rabindra Singh Baniya, the actor and executive producer of the film, remarked that the addition of these actors has stimulated the team. 

“Due to the growing trust of the audience in the series, we are casting their favourite actors even in smaller roles,” said Baniya. Shooting of the film penned and directed by Pradip Bhattarai is scheduled from October 30. 

Max Dipesh Khatri and Yagyashor Paudel are the producers of the film.

 The previous films in this series showcased how comedy can be both realistic and situational.

Actress Gaumaya expressed her excitement about collaborating with such a renowned brand with a dedicated viewer base. “My aspiration to work with this team as an artist is now being realised. I am thrilled to present a new character to the audience,” she said.

The film will feature notable actors like Bipin Karki, Rabindra Singh Baniya, Barsha Raut, Rabindra Jha, Arvind Khadka and Rajaram Poudel among others. 

With blockbusters like ‘Mahapurush’ and the ‘Jatra’ series, the movies of Shatkon Arts are eagerly anticipated.

Even before the beginning of the shooting, MSM Entertainment had secured the international exhibition rights for the film. The film is scheduled to be released around the globe on March 22.
