PM Prachanda summons meeting to discuss Bajhang earthquake

Kathmandu, Oct 4: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has summoned the meeting of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) tomorrow, Thursday.     

The meeting aimed at discussing the earthquake in Bajhang district, extent of damages incurred by the 6.3 magnitude quake on Tuesday noon, according to the Secretariat of PM Prachanda.     

Even the action plan on the part of the government for relief packages and rehabilitation of the quake-survivors among others will feature in the meeting, it was said.     

A tremor with an epicenter in Bajhang district jolted the district and its vicinity at 2:43 pm.     

PM Prachanda on Wednesday called people's representatives of Bajhang district and political leaders to take stock of the quake, it was shared.(RSS)
