blog

By Our Correspondent,Nepaljung, Aug. 29:Tricycles were distributed to differently-abled men and women of six municipalities in Banke district.

Banke (UNESCO) Club Nepal Integrated Development Project with the help of Qatar Charity distributed the tricycles by organising a programme in Nepaljung on Monday.

While distributing the tricycles to the differently-abled people, former minister and leader of Janata Samajwadi Party-Nepal Mohammad Istiyak Rai said, “Tricycles will assist in making the daily activities of the differently-abled persons more comfortable and can boost their morale as well. This kind of help is very important.”

Rai said although it was a small help, it was very important and meaningful to those struggling with a disability when leaders like them have often overlooked this matter. Ravi Tuladhar, the president of Banke UNESCO Club, informed that tricycles were distributed to 30 individuals in the district.

Parvej Ali Siddaqui, the patron of the Club, thanked Qatar Charity for its help and said it would bring about positive changes in people’s life.

According to Binita RC,  30 differently-abled people from Kohalpur, Rapti Sonari, Janaki, Duduwa and Khajura Municipalities were handed over the tricycles.
