By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Aug. 26:To inspire, empower, and guide the youth towards contributing to the nation's development, Universal College and Phoenix College of Management are going to organise the fourth edition of the Kathmandu Youth Conclave on Saturday.
This event aims to foster motivation and provide valuable guidance to young individuals aged between 16 and 25 years. The conclave aspires to drive the country's growth forward with a focus on sharing the knowledge, skills, and experiences of accomplished individuals who have achieved success within Nepal.
Organising a press conference on Thursday, the organisers revealed that around 3,500 youths are expected to participate in the conclave. Notably, the event will feature prominent figures from various fields such as business, entertainment, sports, and healthcare. Renowned figures like Sanduk Ruit and Chef Santosh Shah, along with leaders from Swedish corporations, acclaimed singers, sports icons, comedians, and eye specialists will take the stage to inspire and motivate the attendees.
The organisers said the conclave would play a role in promoting higher education in Nepal and encouraging the participation of youth in the country's economic progress. By fostering self-employment opportunities and instilling a sense of pride in seeking local prospects, the event aims to curtail the trend of youth seeking opportunities abroad, they said.
The conclave promises to be a captivating affair, offering a diverse range of activities including musical performances, comedy shows, dance showcases, food stalls, and interactive games.
