President administers oath to newly-appointed Minister

Kathmandu, Aug 14: President Ram Chandra Paudel has administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly-appointed Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Anita Devi.


Minister Anita Devi took the oath of office at a ceremony organized at the Office of the President today.    


According to the Nepal Constitution, the newly-appointed minister shall take the oath of office from the President. Minister Anita Devi is a Member of Parliament from the Janamat Party.    


Also, present on the occasion were Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', Speaker Devraj Ghimire, National Assembly Chairperson Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, Janamat Party Chair CK Raut, constitutional bodies chiefs, chief secretary and security bodies' chiefs.  (RSS)
