Khadka designated as NC acting President

Kathmandu, June 14: Nepali Congress (NC) has designated its Vice-President Purna Bahadur Khadka as the acting President. Khadka is also the Chief of the Central Policy, Research and Training Academy of the party.


NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba has designated Khadka as the acting President in his absence as per the party statute, informed party office chief secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel.    


NC President and former Prime Minister Deuba has left for Singapore for a routine health follow-up. Khadka would take charge of the party as acting President until the return of Party President Deuba. (RSS)
