Mongolian Heart's Australian tour ends in Adelaide

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, May 2: Mongolian Heart, the famous Nepali band, has completed its musical tour to Australia. The tour that had begun from Melbourne on April 10 concluded in Adelaide on April 30.

According to a press statement issued by Mongolian Heart on Monday,  it was their first tour to Australia in a decade, and the band was warmly received by the audience in every city. The band performed in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Darwin, Perth, Hobart, and Adelaide.

According to Bobby Lama, the band's manager and guitarist, large crowds of people gathered to hear the Mongolian Heart in every venue in Australia.

Lead singer Raju Lama opened the show in each city with some of the band's most popular songs like  'Mero Nepal', 'Bandalpariko Desh Baat', 'Ma Maya Laundina', 'Halla Chalechha', 'Timilai Dekher', 'Parkhaima', and 'Sayad Timro Baatoma'.

Lama concluded the tour's final concert in Adelaide by performing ‘Sayed Timro Baatoma.’

 As the tour came to a close, the audience raised their hands in appreciation, and Lama took a selfie with them from the stage. The band's fans expressed their longing for Mongolian Heart to return soon, and the band pledged that it wouldn't take another 10 years, reads the press statement. 

Led by Raju Lama, a folk, slow rock, and pop melody singer, Mongolian Heart has been active for over three decades since its formation in 1992. 

The band comprises Bobby Lama on rhythm guitar, Santosh Thapa Magar on drums, Kiran Nagarkoti on lead guitar, Pawan Kapali on bass, Binay Maharjan on flute, and Baburaja Maharjan on Madal.
