By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Kathmandu, Nov. 26: Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba has urged the newly appointed Ambassadors and export entrepreneurs to keep economic diplomacy in priority for expanding and promoting it.

At an interaction with the newly appointed Ambassadors and export entrepreneurs at the ministry today, Foreign Minister Dr. Rana urged them to promote economic diplomacy as the government has kept it in top priority of the overall diplomatic policy for achieving the national aspirations of development and prosperity.

As the country's economy has not taken pace as expected due to various reasons at present, it is necessary for our diplomatic missions abroad to promote economic diplomacy. I urge you all to work in your respective host country for promoting our export and also attracting foreign investment by spreading potentials of our country, said FM Dr. Rana.

On the occasion, she suggested the export entrepreneurs for smart packaging so that Nepali products can compete in the world and urged them to contact the ministry and its missions when facing hurdles in course of export.
