Newari culture reflection of Nepali culture: PM Oli

Kathmandu, Nov.27: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that among the cultures of Nepal, Newar culture is the most developed culture.

Prime Minister Oli who had reached the program after receiving a customary invitation to the 21st National Jyapu Day Programme on Wednesday said that Newari culture is a reflection of the Nepalese culture as Newari culture is the most developed culture.

Prime Minister Oli said, "Newari culture is a developed culture among the cultures of Nepal.  This culture is a reflection of Nepali culture. There are many sub-branches of Nepali culture. We have our festive songs and dances. Such a distinct type of culture is not found elsewhere in the world. Newari cuisine, culture, and garments have their unique characteristics and history and it is necessary to continue it." 


He mentioned that there is a distinct culture in Nepal according to the community. There is no culture like Nepal in any part of the world. 

Prime Minister Oli said that Newari culture is a modified and refined culture. He urged everyone to join hands for the protection of every culture and tradition of Nepal.
