81 new cases in 24 hours, active cases stand at 370

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, April 23: As many as 81 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 have been confirmed on Sunday while 54 people recovered from the disease.

In 370 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, 41 people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Sunday. Whereas, 40 positive cases were found in 936 Antigen tests in the last 24 hours. 

Currently, there are 370 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation.

So far, 12,027 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Nepal.
