By TRN Online, Kathmandu, April 22: As many as 78 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 have been confirmed on Saturday while 50 people recovered from the disease.
In 224 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, 20 people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Saturday. Whereas, 58 positive cases were found in 924 Antigen tests in the last 24 hours.
Currently, there are 383 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation.
The country witnessed one death in the last 24 hours.
So far, 12,027 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Nepal.
