106 new cases, one death in 24 hours

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, April 21: As many as 106 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 have been confirmed on Friday while 46 people recovered from the disease.

In 581 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, 64 people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Friday. Whereas, 42 positive cases were found in 1,302 Antigen tests in the last 24 hours. 

Currently, there are 414 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation.

The country witnessed one death in the last 24 hours.

So far, 12,026 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Nepal.
