blog

Kathmandu, April 21: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and the Chairperson of the main opposition party, CPN (UML), KP Sharma Oli have held a meeting today.

The meeting took place at the Prime Minister's Office in Singha Durbar and the two leaders held discussions on contemporary topics including the meeting of the Constitutional Council, said Manahari Timilsina, the Prime Minister's Press Expert.

Recommendation for the appointment of the Chief Justice has not moved ahead as the Constitutional Council is not in consensus. Prime Minister Prachanda had called a meeting of the Constitutional Council on Wednesday morning, but it could not make a decision despite having discussed on making recommendations for the appointment of the Chief Justice.  (RSS)
