Khadka and Bista to participate in Japan Taekwondo Championship

By A Staff Reporter, Kathmandu, April 19: Two athletes from Nepal are going to participate in the Japan Open International Taekwondo Championship. 

Nepal's Ashok Khadka and Nanda Bista will participate in the tournament to be held in Osaka, Japan.

The competition will be held from 22nd to 24th April. Nepali Taekwondo team will leave for Japan on Thursday.

Ashok will play in open poomse and Nanda will represent in under 40 poomse category.

Similarly, Ashok will also in the role of judge in the competition. National Sports Council's member secretary Tanka Lal Ghising bid farewell to the team going to Japan in the program on Wednesday, wishing them success.
