Lumbini World Peace Forum holds "World Green Human Wall" event

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Mar. 26:  Lumbini World Peace Forum held "World Green Human Wall" event today to express solidarity to combating climate change campaign. "World Green Human Wall" event was organized to express Nepal’s solidarity in the global movement "Together to Combat Climate Change".

Lumbini World Peace Forum and its partner organizations "Guardians of the Earth" and "Global Law Thinkers Society" in Bangladesh organized this event with aim to raise awareness about environmental conservation and tree plantation as critical components in combating climate change, according to the press note issued today by Lumbini World Piece Forum, Campaigner of “1 Million Trees Plantation Drive in Nepal”.

The event was organized as part of the "World Green Human Wall" event was not only aimed at raising awareness but was also part of a world record attempt in creating a human wall for solidarity in global efforts to fight climate change and global warming. Nepal based Lumbini World Peace Forum has been involved in “1 Million Trees Plantation Drive” campaign to combat climate change and deforestation in Nepal since 2019 and has planted 20,000 trees to the date. The campaign to plant 1 Million Trees is targeted by 2030 as part of “Sustainable Development Goals”.
