Embassy of Pakistan in Kathmandu celebrates 83rd National Day of Pakistan

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Mar. 23: On the eve of National Day of Pakistan, a Flag Hoisting Ceremony was held at the Embassy of Pakistan, Kathmandu today.

Charge d’ Affaires (a.i.) Umair Ali hoisted the National Flag. Messages from the President and Prime Minister were read out on this occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Charge d’ Affaires Ali recalled the determination and resolution of Muslims in 1940 to create a separate home land for themselves and their future generations. He underlined the need for reaffirming the commitment to make Pakistan the homeland that our forefathers had envisioned, read the press release issued by the embassy.

Members of the Pakistani Community in Nepal and officials of the Embassy attended the Flag Hoisted ceremony.
