Police open blank fire to control clash at Budhinanda Campus

By Sher Bahadur Sarki, Bajura, Mar. 19: A scuffle broke out between the alliance side students and UML's All Nepal National Free Students' Union (ANNFSU) at the Budhinanda Campus of Kolti, Budhinanda Municipality - 2 in Bajura district.

Alliance side's students have blamed UML's ANNFSU students for throwing stones with the intention to disrupt the Free Students Union (FSU) election.

After ANNFSU threw stones, police opened a blank fire.

District Police Office Bajura informed that police opened a blank fire to control the situation as stones were thrown while students were casting votes. 

Election Officer Jay Dev Devkota said that 248 votes out of 412 were cast so far.
