By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Mar. 5: Gorkhapatra journo Lok Bahadur (Lucky) Chaudhary has been honoured with Yadu Memorial Journalism Award- 2079.
On the occasion of the 24th Yadu Memorial Day in a programme on Sunday UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel handed over the award to the journalist Chaudhary.
Chaudhary was honoured with a purse of Rs. 20,000.
Before joining the Gorkhapatra some 13 years ago, Chaudhary was involved in journalism in his home district of Kailali for about 12 years as the editor of the first Tharu vernacular daily 'Hamar Pahura.'
