Technology Rekha Sharma has pointed at the need to introduce new faculties to
attract more students to study in Nepal Sanskrit University (NSU).
Minister Sharma said so while inaugurating Central
Ayurveda Study Center of the NSU.
Referring to the growing interest of the western
nationals to study eastern philosophy, Minister Sharma, who is also the
government spokesperson, highlighted scope of the NSU to be an international university.
She underlined the need for including study of
technology and the practices and conducts of the ancient sages.
Minister Sharma observed that there is a need to
form a taskforce to enhance the NSU development.
She lauded the way the NSU's Ayurveda Teaching Institute
saved lives of hundreds of the patients infected with the novel coronavirus by
treating them with Ayurvedic medicine.
