Economic Prosperity a top Priority : PM Prachanda

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb 12: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' said that the economic prosperity of the country has been his top priority in this stint.

Speaking at a conference on the Way Forward for Nepali Economy in the SEJON AWARDS 2079 organized by the Society of Economic Journalist (SEJON) today, PM Prachanda said that the development of the economy is not only related to the government but success and failure of Nepali society and nation has been pivot around successful expedition of economic prosperity.

Addressing the programme he said that course of action of the government outlined in the priority and common minimum programme has specifically emphasized the need for radical reform.

He said that he has been realizing that he needs economic experts for consultation and suggestions.

He said that facing challenges being created in the national and international scenario is not an easy way forward.

He has vowed that he has given top priority to the bills which have envisioned to drive the country toward economic prosperity.

He also stated that a radical structural reform in bureaucracy is essential for the development of the economy towards a new perspective.
