National Assembly meeting commences

Kathmandu, Jan 9: A meeting of the National Assembly has begun at the Federal Parliament Building, Naya Baneshwar. The meeting of the upper house of the Federal Parliament began at 1.0 pm today along with the meeting of the House of Representatives formed after the election held on November 20.     

In the meeting, National Assembly Chairman Ganesh Prasad Timilsina read out a letter on the convening of the session of the Federal Parliament received from the Office of the President.     

Likewise, Chair Timilsina also read out the content of a letter related to the appointment of the Prime Minister and the formation of the Council of Ministers received from the President's Office. (RSS)
