RSS team calls on Prime Minister Dahal

Kathmandu, Jan 7: A team led by Executive Chairperson of Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) Dharmendra Jha and General Manager Siddharaj Rai met Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' this morning and briefed him about the efforts being made for service delivery and institutional development.

    
In the meeting held at the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar, Prime Minister Dahal said that the government is ready for the development and improvement of the only news agency of the country. "I have received information that RSS is performing well as of late and the government is ready to help for reforms and development," he said.    

Earlier, RSS Chair Jha congratulated Prime Minister Dahal and wished him a successful tenure. As an important media of the state, RSS is carrying out its function according to the government's policy directives.

"We are ready to implement any necessary instructions from the government for the development and expansion of RSS and its services," he said.    

Chief of RSS Administration Department Sheetal Prasad Mahato was also present on the occasion. (RSS)
