Fire breaks out in electronic shop in Dhanusha

By Vijay Kumar Sah, Dhalkebar, Dec. 8: A fire broke out in an electronic shop in Mahendranagar in the Dhanusha district destroying property worth millions. 

Shop’s owner Hira Mahato, a resident of Naktajhij, Mithila Municipality-2, Dhanusha said that the property worth about three million was destroyed by the fire that occurred on Wednesday night.

He said that the goods such as refrigerator, LAD TV, rice cooker, gas stove, and inverter kept for sale were completely burnt and destroyed. 

Bechan Yadav, Police Inspector, Mahendranagar Area Police Office said that the cause for the fire is yet to be ascertained. The preliminary investigation suggests that the blazing might have been caused by the electric shock and further investigation on the matter is undergoing. 

The fire was put out by the fire brigade and with the support of locals who reached the spot after hearing about the incident.
