Election results of 22 constituencies for HoR made public

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov.23: The election result of the 22 constituencies out of a total of 165 constituencies for the House of Representatives (HoR) is made public. 

Of which, Nepali Congress has won 13 seats followed by CPN (UML) with three seats, National Independent Party with three seats, and CPN (Unified Socialist) and Nagarik Unmukti Party (NUP) and Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) each secured one seat. 

For Nepali Congress, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba won from Dadeldhura-1, Pradeep Poudel from Kathmandu-5, Yogesh Gauchan Thakali from Mustang-1, Rajendra Bahadur KC from Kathmandu-10, Mohan Acharya from Rasuwa-1, Tek Bahadur Gurung from Manang-1, Udaya Samsher JBR from Lalitpur-1, Hridaya Ram Thani from Surkhet-2, Santosh Chalise from Kathmandu-3, Sankar Bhandari from Tanahun-2, Ramesh Rijal from Parsa-4, Prakash Man Singh from Kathmandu-1 and Gangan Kumar Thapa from Kathmandu-4, 

Likewise, three candidates from CPN (UML) have been elected as a member of HoR from the first-past-the-post (FPTP) electoral system. Krishna Gopal Shrestha has won from Kathmandu-9, Ambar Bahadur Rayamajhi from Udayapur - 2, and Prem Bahadur Maharjan from Lalitpur-2. 

A total of three candidates from the National Independent Party have been elected as a member of HoR from the first-past-the-post electoral system (FPTP). Sobita Gautam has been elected from Kathamndu-2, Ganesh Parajuli from Kathmandu-7, and Biraj Bhakta Shrestha from Kathamndu-8. 

CPN (Unified Socialist), Nagarik Unmukti Party, and RPP got their first win as a member of HoR candidate Sher Bahadur Kunwar from Achham-1, Ganga Ram Chaudhari from Kailali-3 and Dhawal Shamsher Rana from Bara-2.
