By Amrit Prasad Poudel, Myagdi, Nov. 21: Nepali Congress is taking a lead with 635 votes in a total of 5,820 vote counting.
As per the recent vote counting in the district, Nepali
Congress has taken a lead in the house of representatives (HoR) members. The 1,437 votes remain to count.
Netra Prasad Sharma, Chief District Officer (CDO) of
Mustang, said that a total of 3,156 votes were cast in the election symbol of
Nepali Congress and 2,521 in the symbol of UML. Similarly, 66 votes were cast
for the National Independent Party, 6 for the Rashtriya Prajatantra Party, and 71
votes are invalid.
CDO Sharma said that 3,620 males and 7,257 females and
others, making a total of 7,257 votes were cast out of the total of 10,957
voters.
He said that 7, 257 votes were cast in the
first-past-the-post (FPTP) in the district.
