21% of votes cast in Myagdi, voting paused in one polling station

By Amrit Prasad Poudel, Myagdi, Nov.  20: 21 per cent of votes have been cast till noon in the ongoing election for the election of a member of the House of Representatives (HoR) and Provincial Assembly (PA) in Myagdi district.

Krishna Prasad Nepal, Chief election officer, District Election Office, Myagdi, said that a total of 17,975 votes have been cast till 12; 30 AM, which is, 21 per cent of the total votes. 

Nepal, also a district said that voting is taking place in a fair and peaceful manner in all 119 polling centers of 82 polling stations and one temporary polling center across the district. 

Likewise, voting has been halted in Sikh, Annapurna Rural Municipality-5 after a dispute over the fact that the ballot paper of the House of Representatives (HOR) and Provincial Assembly (PA) was placed differently in different ballot boxes. It is pointed out that ballot papers of the HoR were cast in PA and ballot papers of PA to HoR. 

Voting was stopped after 158 votes were cast in booth 'Ka' and 177 votes in polling centers 'Kha under the Sikh polling center.
