16 new cases, active caseload stands at 562

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov.5: A total of 16 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 have been confirmed on Saturday while 17 people recovered from COVID-19.

In 449 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, a total of 10 people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Saturday.

Likewise, six virus infection was detected in 827 antigen tests performed in the last 24 hours.

Currently, there are 562 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation.

So far, Nepal's COVID-19 death toll has reached 12,019.
