Kathmandu, Oct. 21: Director Sujith Bidari is going to conduct a master class to the filmmakers on the occasion of the 11th Nepal European Film Festival in Surkhet.
Bidari is going to give a filmmaking class on the last day of the Festival.
The 11th edition of the Nepal European Film Festival is being held in Surkhet for the first time along with Kathmandu.
In the four-day film festival to be held at Mid-west University in Surkhet, five European and three Nepali films will be screened.
The three Nepali films include Aaina Jhyalko Putali written and directed by Sujit Bidari, ‘Yet Another Winter’ directed by Kiran Shrestha and ‘Gurkha Girls’ directed by Bishal
Rokka Magar.
The festival will be held from October 28 to November 1 in Kathmandu and from November 5 to 8 in Surkhet
Bidari informed that he would talk about the story needed to make a film and the way to shoot it.
He said, “In the master class, I will share my experience about the process from the idea of making a film, converting that idea into a story, to a screenplay, and finally to converting it
into a scene.”
Bidari, a graduate in filmmaking from Oscar College, said that he would show short films during the master class and further the interaction.
Bidari informed that he would also show a short film Savitri directed by himself. The online version of Nepal European Film Festival will start from October 28 and remain until November 28.
