Nepal American Music Festival held in New York

Kathmandu, Oct. 15Nepal American Music Festival was recently organised in an open space at Diversity Plaza, Queens, New York, USA.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams was present at the opening event of the festival ever organised in the USA.

 According to organisers, about 4,000 audience attended the event.

Nepali, American and Bengali singers and dancers entertained the audience at the event. 

Mayor Eric congratulated the organisers for organising the festival to help promote Nepali music and culture in the world.

 Mayor Eric presented awards to singers Sapna Shree, Firoz Sangden, Pema Chhewang Sherpa and Suraj Singh Thakuri.

 In the event hosted by Suraj Singh, singers Hari Karmacharya , Dipesh Kishore Bhattarai, Sanjeep 

Pradhan, Reshma Sunuwar, Tilak Bam Malla, Bimal Dangi, Nisha Sunar and Sanjok Yonjan sang while Kavina Singh, Yeserg Gurung and Rutman Gurung, Armani Maharjan, Mamata Rai presented their dance. 

DJ Django also enthralled the audience. Nawaraj KC, one of the organisers, said that they hosted the evet as they wanted to introduce Nepali music and culture to foreigners living in Queens, New York.
