42 new cases, 26 recoveries in last 24 hours

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct. 14: A total of 42 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 were confirmed on Friday while 26 people recovered from COVID-19.

In 1,069 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, a total of 42 people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Friday.

Currently, there are 638 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation.

So far, Nepal's COVID-19 death toll has reached 12,018.
