By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct. 12: A total of 51 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 were confirmed on Wednesday while 22 people recovered from COVID-19.
In 743 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, a total of 45 people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Wednesday.
Likewise, the virus infection was detected in six people in 980 antigen tests performed in the last 24 hours.
Currently, there are 598 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation.
So far, Nepals' COVID-19 death toll has reached 12,018.
