Police seize illegally imported goods worth Rs 10 million
Nawalpur, Sept 6 : The District Police Office, Nawalparasi (Bardaghat-Sustapurba) seized illegally imported goods worth Rs 10 million. Based on a tipoff, the police held the goods from a vehicle near a jungle at Kawasoti Municipality-16 of the district on Monday evening during a security check.
Deputy Superintendent of Police
(DSP) Santosh Pathak said the goods were held from a truck (Na 3 Kha 5168) that
was coming from the east from the west.
The seized goods include garment items, sugar, urea fertilizer, and others. DSP Pathak said that further investigations on the issue are initiated. (RSS)
