Kathmandu, Sept 5: Home Minister Khand directs to release security guard Gurung

Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has directed the authorities concerned to release security guard employed at VSF, located at Chhaya Centre, Thamel, Sher Jung Gurung.

Home Minister Khand on Monday asked Chief District Officer of Kathmandu, Govinda Rijal, to release security guard, Gurung, after completing the due process. Police on Sunday had arrested security guard Gurung on the charge of misbehaving with Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Jeevan Ram Shrestha.

A dispute surfaced after Gurung asked Minister Shrestha, who had reached VSF for biometric registration, to follow the queue. (RSS)
